URBED have been working alongside Mikhail Riches, Mole Architects, and Civic Engineers, on a £25 million project to redevelop the site of the Agora shopping centre in Wolverton, Milton Keynes. URBED were originally commissioned by TOWN in 2016 to develop a mixed-use masterplan for the site. This looked to reinstate the historic street pattern that had been lost to the shopping centre, reconnect Radcliffe Street and Church Street with the Square, and create new vibrant streets for a mixed community.

Manchester School of Architecture (MSA) launched the "LULU Landscape and Urbanism" Atelier this year in partnership with URBED. The aim of the Atelier is to provide architecture students with a greater understanding of masterplanning and urban design by bringing together the academic rigour of the MSA and the experience of URBED as practitioners.

Since 2013, URBED have been working with the Proud Trust to develop a new LGBT+ Centre in Manchester City Centre.

The Proud Trust (formerly LGBT+ Youth North West) is a life-saving and life-enhancing organisation that helps LGBT+ young people to empower themselves and make a positive change for themselves and their communities. This is done through youth groups, peer support, managing the LGBT+ Centre for Manchester, delivering training and events, campaigns, undertaking research, and creating resources.
